Aitutaki, Cook Islands, is the second most visited island in the Cook Islands.  Secluded and romantic, one can look forward to languid, leisurely days simply reveling in each other's company and jaw-dropping surroundings.

We anchored offshore and tendered in to the wharf in Arutanga. Here are some arrival photos.  Note the narrow opening in the coral reef for the tenders to enter on our way to the town!

We'll add more photos when we get on shore. Had a nice walk around the town of Arutanga. Below are photos of the central square

Cook Island Pines

I returned to the island after leaving Robbi at the ship to explore some more.  The "guy" below was loose untill some children ran him down and tied him to a tree!! 😊😊

Billy Goat

Atop one of the hills out of town I found this lookout and plaque showing a picturesque view of the wharf and Christian church.

  2. The color of that water is magnificent! It all looks so unspoiled and untouched!
