Dravuni Island is a small island south of Suva with 122 inhabitants and is only 2km long and 0.5km wide. The island is known as "The Paradise Island" because it's basically untouched. We arrived around 7:30am and the first tenders are in the water. We're going to avoid the rush and go on shore around mid-morning. Arrival photos below -- Wonderful site! As I said earlier, there are 330 islands and coming in this morning we saw a lot of them -- mostly uninhabitated, I'm sure!!.

We went ashore and every family had something to dispaly, from clothes, to handicrafts, to massages and hair braiding. The islanders had their own kindergarden and primary schools. It's amazing how happy all the islanders are and how they can live so peacefully away from all the hustle and bustle that we're used to!!!
John walked the beaches from one end of teh island to the other as Robbi "window shopped". We had a super relaxing visit -- truly "ISLAND TIME"!!!! Fantastic stop!!!
